Lena Bergwein is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Germany. After being self-employed as an accountant for the first part of her life, she decided to become a full-time artist in 2018.

Her creative development began over 20 years ago and during this time she found a way to express herself through her painting process. Painting was her passion ever since, especially the moment when you loose the feeling for time & space while painting, is what she loves most. Her process involves painting on several pieces simultaneously to create a dialogue between chaos and harmony. Her aim is to create the perfect artwork & challenge herself every day.

Lena combines different techniques, tools and materials to experiment in her studio. The paintings develop from transparencies, layers of colour and textures.

Her inspiration comes mainly from architecture, adventures in nature and daily impressions. Due to her daily inspirations, she evolves a clear imagination of how to express her creativity in the art process.
